a)Main characters:Max Remy and Linden

b)Max:clumsy and annoyed easily

Linden:optimistic

c) How did the personalities play out in the story to make the story more alive and interesting? Give examples quoted from the books.

Max Remy works very hard for everyone to notice her and acknowledge her,but there is something with her,clumsiness.She gets annoyed when someone sympathize her.There are mysteries in the story that made the story interesting.

d) What did you learn from this author about building interesting characters?

I learnt that in stories,i can express the character's feelings about something or someone.Is a grudge or a complement.Ex press in dialogue form or text form.

It is very good entertaining as it is very interesting with expressive words.I like the way the story is written.

1) Title: Julep O'Toole Confession of a Middle child

Author: Trudi Trueit

2) Plot: Julep Antoinette O'Toole is a girl who has an older sister and a younger brother.This makes her the middle child.Julep feels like she is air.You know why? Because,her sister,Harmony,is Miss Perfect,so she can get what she wants and her younger brother, Cooper,gets a lot of attention because of his asthma and allergies.Even in school, nobody cares about her.But a miracle happened!
One day,the most popular girl at school invites Julep to a Halloween party!!!!

a) Main characters: Julep , Harmony and Coop

b) Personalities of main characters :

Julep : no courage,expresses her feelings in her diary

Harmony: proud of her talent,commands Julep to do things for her

Coop: daring,stubborn,persistent

c) How did the personalities play out in the story to make the story more alive and interesting? Give examples quoted from the books.

Their parents wanted Julep and Coop to trade rooms but Julep wasn't willing to.In the end,Julep still gave in to them.Every time,for breakfast,Harmony would command Julep to serve breakfast to her.When Julep asked her,"I didn't hear about any talent show''.She replied proudly,''It's for people with talents.'' Coop even pushed her box containing her important items out of the windows when it was raining.

d) What did you learn from this author about building interesting characters?

I learnt that arguments of the characters made the story more interesting and it made suspense for the readers.Letting them to think what will happen next?Will they become enemies or will they still be friends?

The story was actually quite boring but it was quite good for learning.
